Since Lil Boosie’s release from prison, fans have been excited, but scammers have been taking advantage, booking shows across the country.
The rapper told TMZ this week that a massive scam is going around, which dooped booking agents across the country. Several victims have come forward, each saying it cost them $25,000.
Booking agent LaToya Thompson told TMZ that she came across a Boosie booking flier on Instagram recently and called the phone number. She got in touch with a man claiming to be Boosie’s brother TQ, who instructed her to wire him $25,000 to book Boosie for a concert in April.
As soon as the money was sent, “TQ” disappeared.
Two other victims said the same thing, claiming a company named Giovany Productions was behind the bookings. Boosie, however, says no company has permission to book him. Furthermore, any bookings would go through his brother TQ (the real one), who he says was NOT involved in the bookings in question.
TQ also says he plans to file a police report.
