After a disappointing season, following an incredible rookie year, Washington Redskins quarterback Robert Griffin III will make changes in the upcoming season. Most notably, getting rid of his knee brace.
RG3 made the issue clear Monday (March 17). “It’s safe to say I won’t be wearing the brace [in 2014],” he said at the 36th Ed Block Courage Awards dinner, according to CSN Washington.
Griffin tore ligaments in his right knee during a playoff loss to Seattle in January 2013. The following season, he wore a brace on the knee, during which he was not as explosive. Whether it was due to his knee or the brace itself was up for opinion though.
Hopefully, it was the latter, and he can turn things around next season. What do you think?
