Vans introduces a brand new silhouette for the Spring 2014 collection from its LXVI line — the PRIME.

For the new model, the brand takes an elevated design approach, combining innovative materials and construction practices to create a lightweight, breathable shoe. It features a synthetic leather one-piece upper with engineered perforations, increasing airflow and flexibility.

For the season, the PRIME is introduced in black and light grey colorways, both sporting a laser-cut and engineered perf pattern with the black color up accented by a speckled midsole and the light grey execution detailed with an intricate python print on the collar.

The sneaker features Vans’ all new UltraCushâ„¢ Lite midsole/outsole unit, a WaffleFlexâ„¢ tread pattern and molded rubber pods over the high wear toe and heel areas. The upper uses a 4-way stretch LuxLiner for superior fit, while the outer cage of the shoe uses lightweight synthetic panels bonded together using our RapidWeld process.

The Vans LXVI PRIME is available now at select stocklists and online for $100.
