In celebration of St. Patrick's Day, the city of Chicago dyed the river green. Resident Peter Tsai took this time lapse video showing the preparations, as a boat trails green dye, turning the river green for the celebrations.

The tradition draws thousands of onlookers each year, as 45lbs of vegetable dye colors the river between Columbus and Wacker Drives.
