Tyler The Creator had another run-in with cops in Texas on Saturday (March 15), when he was arrested for starting a riot during SXSW.
According to the AP, the Odd Future rapper was arrested at the August airport, and booked for inciting a riot at his concert on Thursday (March 13).
Police say Tyler provoked his fans to break through the barricade and past venue employees at the at-capacity Converse/Thrasher “Death Match” event at Austin’s Scoot Inn.
A court-issued warrant says the rapper encouragedr fans to push their way inside… twice. During the ordeal, a bartender trying to protect a woman from getting trampled on was punched in the face for doing so.
Tyler is in custody on $3,500 bond. If convicted, he faces up to a year in jail and a $4,000 fine.
