Jack Daniel’s announced this week that it will test a new concoction called “Tennessee Fire.”
The red hot cinnamon spirit, set to roll out in April, follows the success of Jack Daniel’s Tennessee Honey and the popularity of the flavored whiskey category. Brand officials said they wanted to offer existing and new friends another Jack Daniel’s flavor option.
Tennessee Fire is crafted with Jack Daniel’s Old No. 7 whiskey and naturally infused with a proprietary red hot cinnamon liqueur. It is 70 proof and will priced in line with Tennessee Honey.
Although a timeframe was not given for how long the market test would take place, availability begins in three states — Oregon, Pennsylvania and the distillery’s home state of Tennessee. For further info, follow @JackFire on Twitter.
