Jay Z, Kanye West Bring The Throne To SXSW

Jay Z and Kanye West made SXSW fans bow down to The Throne Wednesday night (March 12), performing at the Austin Music Hall for an exclusive concert by Samsung.

In front of a crowd of nearly 5,000, the duo kicked off the show perched about two towering mini-stages with “H.A.M.”, before launching into a variety of Watch the Throne cuts — including “Otis” and “Welcome to the Jungle,” as well as their verses from Beyoncé’s “Drunk in Love (Remix).”

Both Jay and Ye also performed material off their latest albums. Ye ran through the Yeezus singles “Black Skinhead” and “New Slaves,” while Jay Z performed “Tom Ford” and “F***WithMeYouKnowIGotIt” off Magna Carta…Holy Grail.
