had the opportunity to stay at The Resort at Pelican Hill in Newport Beach, California in February. The 5-star renaissance-inspired resort, overlooking Crystal Cove, certainly lives up to its acclaim. From fine dining, luxury spas, to world class accommodations and picturesque golf courses, the hidden resort overlooking the Pacific Ocean proves you really can have everything under the sun.

We stayed in the resort’s one story bungalow that truthfully felt like a beach townhouse in every way. At 847 sq. ft., the “Ocean King” residence was incredibly generous and private. In fact, only one wall is shared with a neighbor, something we enjoyed and added to the resort’s intimacy. Needless to say, the room was stocked with all of the luxury accommodations you would expect: granite countertops throughout, his and her sinks, separate bath and shower, room and maid service, laundry, shoe shinning, gorgeous views, and a tasteful curation of boutique toiletries.

Additionally, The Resort at Pelican Hill encompasses a number of distinct properties within the resort, each with its own unique personality and set of accommodations. Our favorite had to be the infinity pool, overlooking their golf course which in turn overlooked the ocean. Definitely a sight to behold when taking a dip or working on one’s putt game.

A stay similar to ours will cost you around $595 per night, and we can assure you it’s worth every dollar. You can schedule accommodations for your next visit here.
