After releasing her debut EP Queen D in October, Lil Debbie is back at work, preparing the release of another, entitled California Sweetheart.
Due out later this month, the female rapper speaks to Billboard about the upcoming project and it being about HER and not anybody else.
“California Sweetheart is me,” Debbie explained. “It’s not White Girl Mob. It’s not RiFF RaFF…It’s me, all by myself. That’s rare.
“I’m very sarcastic,” she continued. “I’m witty. I’m smoking weed most of the day. I think people get on the Internet and talk sh** because they don’t really know who I am. I think this project is, finally, a full body of myself… I believe in making catchy music, not cheesy music. My sh** is funny. They’re going to get stuck in your head.”
California Sweetheart is due out March 25th. Pre-order now at iTunes.
