Is Phil Jackson coming out of retirement?
According to ESPN.com, a decision has yet to be made, but the legendary coach is currently considering a front-office job with the New York Knicks. If accepted, Jackson’s role would be president of basketball operations, in which he’d have complete control of all basketball-related matters.
The report also notes that it’s unclear whether the decision would include an agreement to coach the Knicks next season. But, answers are expected sometime next week.
Knicks president Steve Mills reportedly offered the head-coaching position to Jackson, but he declined. But, Phil wants to run a team.
