Coming on Record Store Day 2014 (April 19th) is a new coffee-table book by Elion Paz, called Dust & Grooves: Adventures In Record Collecting.
The forthcoming hardcover tells the stories of over 130 vinyl connoisseurs and their collections in the most intimate of environments — their record rooms. Photographic essays are paired with in-depth interviews to illustrate what motivates record collectors to keep digging.
Dust & Grooves is divided into two main parts: the first features 250 full-page photos, framed by captions and select quotes. The second consists of 12 full-length interviews that delve deeper into collectors’ personal histories and vinyl troves.
It’s printed on thick 170 GSM matte art paper and was designed by the award-winning Brazilian studio 45JJ.
Dust & Grooves: Adventures In Record Collecting releases April 19th at select retailers. For more info, visit EilonPaz.com.
