Former All-Star Danny Granger has chosen to sign with the Los Angeles Clippers, reports ESPN.
The Clips came out on top, after the Spurs, Rockets, Heat and Mavericks made a run for the former Pacers forward. He was traded to the Philadelphia 76ers before the trade deadline… and is set to complete a contract buyout and clear waivers Friday (Feb. 28).
Granger was already in Los Angeles on Thursday and working out at a local gym, a source tells ESPN. And, hopes to play Saturday when the Clippers host the Pelicans.
This season, Granger played in 29 games with the Pacers, after returning from knee and calf injuries. He averaged 8.3 points in 22 minutes a game, but his career average is 17.6 points a game.
