Seahawks running back Marshawn Lynch doesn’t like to talk to media … EVER! And, it showed during a press conference for Super Bowl XLVIII this week, where he reluctantly sat in front of press microphones and barely said a thing.

The star running back is so standoff-ish with media that the NFL threatened him with a $50,000 fine earlier in the season for not fulfilling his media obligations.

During Tuesday’s (Jan. 28) league-mandated media day, he arrived, said a few words in what turned out to be pretty funny. “I’m just here so I won’t get fined, boss. That’s the only reason I’m here,” he said.

Fullback Michael Robinson tried to lighten the mood by answering in his place, and mocking his constant “Boss” answer.
