Back in 1923, when the New York Yankees won their World Series, the legendary ball club showed their appreciation to Babe Ruth for his contribution with this engraved Gruen Verithin pocket watch.

Though it believed to have disappeared, it recently resurfaced and is now for sale at Heritage Auctions.

It features a unique five-sided case made of 14-carat gold and various engravings, including Babe Ruth's name and his friend Charles Schwefel's, which he had added before giving it to him before his death.

The personalized Babe Ruth pocket watch is currently up for auction, and sits at $190,000 at press time.
