If you’re a longtime fan of MMA or the WWE, then you may remember Ken Shamrock. He’s an MMA legend, who competed in UFC 1 and was the headliner of UFC 3.
He was spotted recently during the 2014 Consumer Electronics Show (CES) in Las Vegas this week, where he was hired as security detail for 50 Cent, who attended the show for his SMS Audio headphones line. The 49-year-old was spotted working the SMS Audio booth at the annual tradeshow, and confirmed reports via Twitter.
“Yes, I’m working with 50 cent doing his personal bodyguarding,” Ken tweeted (@ShamrockKen), when asked by MMA journalist Arial Helwani. He later tweeted at Fif: “it’s been a pleasure working with you and your team, you are by far one of the classiest gents I have ever worked with. God bless”
For those not familiar with Ken Shamrock, he is a pioneer in MMA. He fought in UFC 1, taking on fellow legend Royce Gracie. His last fight in the UFC was in 2006, when he took on Tito Ortiz and lost. Ken also wrestled in the World Wrestling Federation (WWF), now named the WWE, during which he earned the nickname “The World’s Most Dangerous Man.”
The UFC honored Shamrock in 2003, when he was inducted into the Hall of Fame.
