MMA legend Tito Ortiz was slated to come out of retirement this past November, to fight in Bellator’s first PPV against longtime friend and fellow fighting legend, Rampage Jackson. However, days before the fight, he was forced to pull out after suffering injury (broken neck) during training.

A week prior, we caught up with Tito in Huntington Beach for a chat about his return, his deal with Bellator and more, during which photographer Estevan Oriol shot a series of photos… that we’re sharing right here. The L.A. photographer shot the former UFC champ in his trademark black-n-white style, using Ortiz’s Team Punishment gym as the back drop.

Ortiz has since stated that he plans to make a full recovery, and make his Bellator debut in the near future. No official news yet.
