Although it’s known for its GPS navigation units, Garmin is making the leap into fitness with the vivofit band.
On display at this year’s CES, the device is a lightweight fitness band designed to turn your good intentions into lifelong habits. The company boasts that the Vívofit is the only fitness band on the market that automatically greets its users with a personalized daily goal, tracks their progress and reminds them when it’s time to move.
It features a curved digital display that is continuously on, showing your steps, goal countdown, distance, and the time. It’s also water-resistant (50m), has a one-year battery life, and is available in five colors (black, slate, purple, teal, blue).
The Garmin vivofit is due out this spring. For more info, visit Garmin.com/Vivo.
