Mazaradi Fox

Mazaradi Fox, a New York rapper formerly affiliated with 50 Cent’s G-Unit Records, was shot and killed on Friday (Jan. 3) in Queens, New York.

According to the New York Daily News, the shooting took place shortly after 4 pm when a shooter opened fire on a white SUV, striking Fox (real name: Jamal Green) and three others. While the rapper was pronounced dead on the scene, three victims were rushed to nearby Jamaica Hospital — one was reportedly in critical condition.

The assailant fled the scene in a separate vehicle.

Fox is most known for his past affiliation with 50 Cent, appearing on a number of mixtapes from 2007 until 2008 when they severed business ties.

50 released a statement via Twitter (@50Cent): “Saddened by the news of Mazaradi’s tragic passing my thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends.”
