Gnarls Barkley, the duo composed of Cee Lo and Danger Mouse, is set to reunite in 2014.
TMZ cameras caught up with Cee Lo as he entered LAX early Sunday morning (Dec. 22), asking him when the duo would re-connect. “Next year, man,” he said.
Gnarls Barkley is responsible for Cee Lo’s mainstream success. After a successful career as a member of Goodie Mob, he hooked up with Danger Mouse in the mid-2000s and released their debut album, St. Elsewhere, which spawned the smash hit, “Crazy.” They’d follow in 2008 with The Odd Couple.
In 2010, Cee Lo told CNN.com that the duo would definitely record, at least, one more album together.
“We’ll definitely do one more,” Cee-Lo said at the time. “And that’s so crazy, because we were only supposed to do one. I feel so young. I feel like I can do anything right now. I feel like people are hearing me for the first time and I’ve been around for seventeen years, for God’s sake!”
