Mobb Deep announced this week that they’re currently prepping a long awaited reunion album, as well as a would tour, set to kick off in January.
The duo stopped by the offices of the Huffington Post to talk about the news, reminiscing about their landmark debut, and of course, the upcoming project.
Kicking off on January 10th in San Diego, California, the duo (Prodigy and Havoc) will trek across the U.S. for 32 dates, before announcing dates for the European leg in the summer. The tour will make stops in Washington D.C., Miami, New Orleans, Dallas, Hollywood, Oakland, Seattle, and Denver with the final stop in Chicago on May 2nd.
When P and Hav head to Europe, it will mark the first time in almost nine years that the duo will perform outside of the US.
VIP tickets will be available to fans who register at their official website, TheInfamousMobbDeep.com.
The tour will coincide with Mobb Deep’s anticipated new album, The Infamous Mobb Deep, due out in Spring 2014 via Infamous Records. It will be a double-disc CD, featuring unreleased tracks from their original 1995 debut and the digitally re-mastered version of the group’s classic album along with a brand new self-titled CD.
