Rihanna is just 25, but continues to make music history.
She recently landed her 13th No. 1 song for her collaboration with Eminem, “The Monster,” off his The Marshall Mathers LP 2 album. It tops the Billboard Hot 100 this week, rising 2-1, dethroning Miley Cyrus’ “Wrecking Ball,” which ruled the chart for three weeks.
Now, Rihanna ties Michael Jackson for the third most No. 1s in the Hot 100’s history, surpassing Madonna and the Supremes. Only Mariah Carey (18) and the Beatles (20) have more, reports Billboard.
It also helps Eminem makes history, as he ties the record for the most Hot 100 No. 1s among rappers with five, sharing the honor with Diddy and Ludacris.
“Ohhhhhh BOMBA!!!! #Jah RULE every ting!!!! We are #1 in this muthaPHUCKA!!!! @Eminem congrats to you and all the fans!!” tweeted RiRi. “Wow!! I cant tell yall how I’m shaking! I cant believe this!! You did this!! #13 number 1’s! Where dey do dat at? Hardly! Yall epic az phuck.”
