Lamar Odom has made headlines over the last few months, as speculation points to an alleged drug problem. Though he’s denied the claims, he remains jobless.
According to NBA.com, Los Angeles Clippers coach Doc Rivers met with the 34-year-old NBA veteran Friday (Nov. 15) at the team’s practice facility, but it’s unclear how far the talk went.
“I’ve always had interest in him.But honestly, it really didn’t go much further than that,” Rivers said before Saturday’s (Nov. 16) game. “He looked like his weight was way down and he was in great shape, but that doesn’t mean a lot. But that was it for me.”
In addition to his tumultuous personal life, Odom was arrested on a DUI charge in August.
