Tyler The Creator Blasts Will.i.am For ‘Plotting His Downfall’

Tyler The Creator met and chatted with Will.i.am during Kanye West’s Los Angeles “Yeezus” tour stop Monday evening (October 28), and apparently didn’t like their conversation.

According to the Odd Future frontman, Will told him that he’d compromise his art for money 10 years from now… and that didn’t sit well with him, prompting him to go off on the Black Eyed Peas’ member via Twitter.

“I MADE A BET WITH WILL I AM FOR A MILLION BUCKS THAT I WILL BE MAKING MONEY 10 YEARS FROM NOW DOING WHAT I LOVE AND NOT WHAT MAKES THE MOST,” Tyler tweeted (@f***tyler). “N**** SAID ‘THEN YOU MAKE A DECISION ON WHAT TO DO TO SURVIVE’ NO N**** THATS NOT HOW IT IS FOR EVERYONE. IM NOT GONNA MAKE MUSIC I HATE.”

He continued, blasting Will for “selling out.”

“HES SO TALENTED BUT HES MAKING BUTT SH** TO MAKE BREAD, USE THE CREATIVITY FOR SOMETHING TIGHT MAN,” said Tyler. “I CANT BELIEVE THIS N**** WAS PLOTTING ON MY F***ING DOWNFALL CAUSE HE MAKES SH** HE HATES AND DOESNT LIKE HIMSELF. WILL I AM IS A MARK.

“THIS N**** REALLY WALKED UP TO ME TELLING ME ABOUT MYSELF 10 YEARS FROM NOW N**** F*** YOU NOW IMA GO OUT OF MY WAY TO PROVE YOU WRONG,” he continued. “IMA STAY POSITIVE AND FOCUSED LIKE I HAVE BEEN SO I CAN CONTINUE TO HAVE A TENNIS COURT IN MY BACKYARD EAT A D***.”

Despite all the harsh words, Tyler did admit that the Black Eyed Peas’ 1998 debut, Behind the Front, was his first hip-hop album.
