Lady Gaga finally unveils the cover art for their upcoming third album, ARTPOP.
The cover was debuted Monday (October 7) via a billboard in New York’s Times Square, showing off what looks to be a naked sculpture of the pop star looking over a gazing ball designed by Jeff Koons. Behind her is also a collage of Botticelli’s Birth of Venus painting.
“I’m nervous&excited to share something that’s such a piece of my heart. Something I cherish deeply. A real depiction of my mind through his,” tweeted Gaga (@LadyGaga).
ARTPOP is due Nov. 11, and will featuring the hit single “Applause,” as well as the tracks “Manicure,” “Swine,” “Sex Dreams,” and “Jewels and Drugs” featuring Too $hort, T.I., and Twista.
