Following the announcement of the 2014 ES 350, Lexus follows by revealing the upcoming 2014 LX 570.
Billed as a “brilliant combination of luxury and capability,” the full-size SUV offers an optimal balance of luxury, off-road capability and everyday usability — all in superlative comfort. So, whether you’re navigating urban traffic or towing a horse trailer, the option is there, as the LX boasts a 7,000-pound towing capacity.
The latest installment boasts room for eight with three row seating, and the signature Lexus spindle grille front design, refreshed in 2013. However, when full 8-passenger seating is not needed, the power-retractable third row seat folds into the floor opening up a large cargo area.
Under the hood, the vehicle features a 5.7-liter V8 that produces 383 horsepower and 403 lb.-ft. peak torque; and an electronically-controlled six-speed automatic transmission.
Interior highlights include beautiful leather, mahogany wood trim accenting, and heated front seats with an optional heated steering wheel. Inside technology includes a standard navigation system that includes voice command, a high-resolution color LCD monitor with integrated wide-view backup camera, and Bluetooth; and the subscription-based Lexus Enform, offering live, 24-hour navigation assistance.
The 2014 Lexus LX 570 will start $81,780 when it hits dealers.
