GoPro announced Tuesday (October 1) the addition of a new camera to its line: the HERO3+.
Touted as “The Most Advanced GoPro Camera Yet,” the new releases boasts a 20% smaller and lighter design and 30% better battery life than previous models, as well as an improved lens and convenient new video capture modes.
Two new models are available for the HERO3+ — Black and Silver editions.
The Black edition comes with a new housing, yielding a 20% smaller and lighter overall package when camera is installed in housing, as well as the improved battery life, 4x faster Wi-Fi, two new modes (SuperView and Auto Low Light), and the new lens. The Silver edition sports a 2x faster image processor from the original HERO3 Silver, new housing for a 15% light package, and 4x Wi-Fi.
Additionally, GoPro announced several new mounting accessories that enable even a more immersive content capture during any activity.
The GoPro HERO3+ Black and Silver Editions are available now at GoPro.com for $399.99 and $299.9, respectively.
