British car maker Jaguar recently announced a new program allowing consumers to test out their car line on the track.
Dubbed the Jaguar Performance Academy, drivers are given the chance to test-drive a new Jaguar XFR, XKR or XJ Supersport through its paces under the guidance of the company’s highly accomplished driving coaches.
“Here’s your opportunity to explore the limits of our highest performing Jaguar models on a race track, and find out what makes these cars so appealing to drive,” Jag writes on their website.
Two courses are offered — the Basic Course, and Advanced course.
The Academy’s Basic Course is complimentary to U.S. Jaguar owners who’ve purchased their latest models in the past 12 months, while non-owners (21 or over) can give the course a go on a fee basis of $1,850. Participation in the Advanced Course, designed for those who have already completed the Basic Course, can also be purchased for $2,495.
Some of the activities include max acceleration, braking in a straight line, corner entry and exit strategies, among others.
