If you didn’t know, Knicks guard Iman Shumpert also moonlights as a rapper, so when the First Lady, Michelle Obama, came asking for some tracks… he obliged.
Michelle Obama has been passionate about national struggle with childhood obesity, starting a foundation called Let’s Move! And, in support of the initiative, the foundation is prepping a hip-hop album targeted at kids to raise awareness around healthy eating.
According to Rolling Out, Shumpert contributed a song called “Pass The Rock.”
Other songs on the album includes healthy eating-inspired songs like “Veggie Luv,” “Mother May I?” and “We Like Vegetables,”… and features the likes of DMC and Doug E. Fresh.
It’s unclear when the project will drop.
