Danny Brown Criticizes Fool’s Gold Records

Detroit rapper Danny Brown has made a name for himself over the past few years, while signed to A-Trak’s Fool’s Gold Records… but apparently, he doesn’t feel like a priority there.

In 2011, the rapper dropped his acclaimed mixtape-turned-retail project XXX with Fool’s Gold. From there, he’s covered Fader, earned XXL’s Freshman honor, and toured the world. But, he feels the label isn’t moving along with his career trajectory… specifically, with the release of his long awaited album, OLD.

“Man #OLD f*** around and never come out … Smh,” Brown tweeted (@XDannyXBrownX) Monday (August 12). “I’m a f*** around and leak that sh** myself if n****s don’t get it together.”

Following the threats by Brown, which have since been deleted, Fool’s Gold Records founder A-Trak announced (via Twitter) that Old is “coming” with a video single coming this week.

Danny Brown retweeted the message…
