2006’s NFL #3 pick, Vince Young, finally finds a new home… with the Green Bay Packers.
The team announced Tuesday (August 6) that the 30-year-old quarterback has signed a one-year deal, after what reports say was an impressive workout for the team Monday (August 5), reports ESPN.com.
Young last played with the Philadelphia Eagles in 2011, and was cut by the Buffalo Bills before last season. Before that, he served as the starter for the Tennessee Titans for much of his time there from 2006-10.
With the Packers, he will compete for the #2 spot in the quarterback rotation with Graham Harrell, both of whom will backup starter Aaron Rodgers.
