Kris Kross rapper, Chris “Mac Daddy” Kelly, passed away suddenly back in May 1st… and now, results of a toxicology test reveals the cause.
According to a Fox News report, the 34-year-old’s death has been ruled a drug overdose.
Investigator Betty Honey, of the Fulton County Medical Examiner’s office in Atlanta, said Monday (July 1) that Kelly had a mixture of drugs in his system when he was pronounced dead. However, what specific drugs Kelly had used were unknown.
The rapper’s mother previously told investigators her son used cocaine and heroin the night before he died and had a history of drug abuse.
