Young Jeezy solidifies his relationship with YG, signing the Compton rapper to his CTE imprint.
During an interview with Power 98.3’s Bootleg Kev, the young rapper revealed the news, while explaining why it’s taken so long to drop his official debut.
“It’s timing,” YG explained. “It’s the politics you gotta’ play with the label. The games you gotta go through … you gotta’ f*** with the right people.
“I’m Corporate Thuggin’ though. People don’t know that yet. We linked up, we partnered up, ya feel me?”
Jeezy and YG first met at a Los Angeles nightclub. The ATL Rap star YG’s music inside the venue, and the rest is history. “We been f****in’ with each other for about a year, just building, recording, talking about what we gon’ do.”
YG’s official debut is titled I’m 4rm Bompton. However, an announcement has yet to he revealed.
