Dodgers pitcher, Clayton Kershaw, is reportedly in negotiations for a massive contract extension that could potentially be the richest in baseball history for a pitcher.

According to Fox Sports, both sides have discussed a variety of proposals -- including 10 years, $250 million and 12 years, $300 million, sources said. It will definitely be above the $180 million deal the Detroit Tigers gave to pitcher, Justin Verlander.

Kershaw is currently in the second year of a two-year, $19 million contract.
