In a commercial for Samsung Mobile during Game 5 of the NBA Finals on Sunday (June 16), Jay-Z announced that he will drop a new album… in July.

Through his partnership with the electronics brand, the hip-hop mogul will release Magna Carta Holy on July 4th, exclusively to Samsung Galaxy fans. An app will be released on June 24 that will allow fans/Samsung users to get the forthcoming album on July 4th for free, three full days before it drops on July 7th.

In a three-minute spot, Hov is shown working on new music with Rick Rubin, Timbaland, Pharrell, and Swizz Beatz.

“Pretty much the object of this album is this duality of how do you navigate your way through this whole thing, through success, through failures, through all this, and remain yourself?” explained Jay.
