Although he alluded to it never happening, via a tweet early this week, footage of 2 Chainz being robbed in San Francisco has made its way to the Internet.

TMZ obtained footage of the incident, which they posted Thursday morning (June 13), showing the Atlanta rapper and his crew attempting to flee from robbers after a gun was drawn on them on the streets of the Bay Area.

As shown in the footage, 2 Chainz and his entourage were casually walking down the street Sunday afternoon (June 9) when, at least, two men approached them with guns drawn. That’s when the rapper’s entire crew immediately scattered, while the gunmen gave chase.

During the chase, 2 Chainz is seening stumbling and falling, with one of the gunman hovering him. Reports say, he was jacked for his cell phone and wallet.

2 Chainz later posted a tweet denying he was robbed, writing, “Rule #1 if a rapper gets robbed people usually post items that has been taken.”

No arrests have been made.
