Lil Wayne finally sat down on the “Jimmy Kimmel Live” show this week on Tuesday (June 11), where he discussed everything from seizures to his retirement to skateboarding.
The rapper missed his last two scheduled appearances on the show — one missed episode, an audience member sat down in his place for a funny interview, while the second was because of one of his recent seizure incidents.
Weezy explains what happened, and says he’s now taken measures to ensure his safety. “I’ve taken those steps and a whole bunch of other steps to make sure that everything’s perfect,” the rapper said, adding that the doctors have prepped all his “homies” in case of future emergencies.
Later, he talks about his plans to retire after Tha Carter V. “I want to retire after the Carter V, which I hope would be my last album.”
After retirement, Weezy says he plans to spend “quality time” with his kids. However, the retirement won’t be for a while, including a collabo album with Birdman called Like Father, Like Son 2.
Weezy also addressed his comments about sleeping with Chris Bosh’s wife (“I was too turnt up that night”) and his love for skating.
