Chief Keef associate Lil Durk, who recently signed to French Montana’s Coke Boys imprint, is currently sitting in a Chicago area jail after being caught with a handgun.
According to DNAinfo, the 20-year old rapper (real name: Durk D. Banks) was standing near a car at around 3 am Wednesday morning (June 5) in Englewood, when police pulled up to investigate a call of a man with a gun.
As police arrived, Durk was spotted tossing a gun into the car, which authorities later recovered — a .40-caliber pistol.
He was subsequently arrested, and charged with unlawful use of a weapon by a felon and is expected in bond court Thursday (June 6).
According to reports, authorities received a call of a man with a gun when they spotted Durk.
Durk was previously caught with a gun — with it’s serial numbers scratched off — back in October 2011. He was jailed in 2011 for the offense and released in July 2012.
His parole was scheduled to end at the end of July 2013, according to the Chicago Tribune.
