Rising Chicago rapper Lil Reese was arrested over the weekend when an arrest warrant popped up on his record.
According to the Chicago Tribune, an arrest warrant was issued for the 20-year-old (real name: Tavares Taylor) last week for criminal trespass, mob action and battery charges, stemming from an incident back in February.
Police found him at around 4 am on Sunday (April 28), when an officer on patrol spotted him sleeping in a car. He’s being held in lieu of a $100,000 bail Sunday.
In May 2010, the rapper pleaded guilty to burglary charges and was given two years of probation.
Back in October 2012, Reese received backlash when a grainy video of him beating a young woman went viral.
