Denver-based Akomplice Clothing has teamed up with Brazilian brand Aesthetic for a tee series created for a good cause.

The MOI tee series, dubbed “The Children of Empada”, is a limited project with 100% of the profits going towards educating kids from the East African town where the photos were taken. Shot by photographer Philippe Pessoa, he captures poignant photos of the children of Empada on a trip to the rural town, which in turn gave rise to this tee series.

“Akomplice continues to blaze a trail of social and environmental consciousness which is often times devoid within the industry,” a press release reads.

“By purchasing these tees, you are directly supporting the place and people you see in these pictures,” said Akomplice co-founder Patrick Liberty.

The Akomplice x Aesthetic “The Children of Empada” tee series is set to drop Saturday (March 30) at Akomplice’s website, Akomplice-Clothing.com. For more info, also visit Aesthetic.art.br and Moiplatform.org/projects.
