Gucci Mane was arrested and taken into custody Wednesday morning (March 27) for an incident last week in which he assaulted a soldier who wanted a photograph, reports WBSTV.
As we previously reported, 32-year old Army veteran James Leonard Lettley approached a security guard in the VIP section of the Harlem Nights nightclub in Atlanta on Friday (March 22), asking if he could get a photo with the rapper.
Instead of the photo, he was hit in the head with a champagne bottle by Gucci, opening up a gash that required 10 stitches to close.
A warrant was issued for Gucci (real name: Radric Davis), who was arrested Wednesday morning (March 27) and taken to the Fulton County Jail.
The rapper is charged with aggravated assault, and was expected to appear in court this morning.
