Too Short dodges a felony drug possession charge, stemming from a DUI arrest from last week.
As previously reported, the rapper (real name: Todd Anthony Shaw) was arrested early Wednesday morning (March 20) on a DUI charge, during which police said they found drugs in the back of the squad car.
He was booked for felony drug possession.
However, TMZ.com reports that the L.A. County District Attorney has rejected the felony drug case, because only a small amount of drugs were found, which they say is meth. Given that Too Short does not have a felony record, the D.A. decided not to prosecute.
Short insists he was not in possession of drugs.
