Gucci Mane and A$AP Ferg got into a quick little Twitter exchange recently, after the ATL rapper took offense to Ferg’s Trap Lord mixtape title. The A$AP Mob member, in response, would say Gucci was “washed up.”

In a recent interview with DJ Whoo Kid, Ferg addressed the situation further, chalking up the issue as “miscommunication.” He says that he’s been using Trap Lord for a minute, stamping his video for “Work” with the title back in August 2012.

“I think it’s a miscommunication. I don’t know what Gucci was doing,” he explained. “I mean, if you look at the date on the ‘Work’ video and you see ‘Trap Lord Productions’ in the front of that video… And that’s it.”

As for his upcoming Trap Lord mixtape, Ferg said listeners can expect guest appearances from Bone Thugs-N-Harmony and production from Clams Casino.

“There’s going to be some very rare features on there. It just happened,” he said. “The Lord himself just dropped these features on there. I might have a little bit of Bone Thugs on there, just to name them. I might have some beats from very rare on there. I might have something from Clams Casino on there. I’m trying to do something very legendary right now.”

Ferg is fresh off signing a deal with Polo Grounds/RCA, and is currently gearing up for an opening stint on Juicy J’s “Stay Trippy” tour, kicking off next month.
