Audi has recently unveiled their brand new, 2013 Audi RS6 Avant.
The new car boasts a 4.0-liter TFSI V8 two twin-turbo engine that cranks out 560 horsepower and 516 pound-feet of torque; and capable of hitting 0-60 mph at just 3.9 seconds with a max top speed of 190 mph.
It’s 220 pounds lighter than the debut model from last year, and is fitted with stop/start and cylinder deactivation, so fuel economy is around 24 miles per gallon, 40% better than before. It also boasts an eight-speed tiptronic shift kit and a long eighth-gear ratio to boost highway mileage.
The exterior is set off by matte aluminum and high-gloss black trim, and includes a large rear diffuser and two oval tailpipes. Inside is black, with red and white accents, carbon fiber and aluminum-look trim, diamond quilting on the seats and new Formula-One-style shift lights. And oh by the way, it holds nearly 60 cubic feet of your stuff behind the rear seats.
The 2013 Audi RS6 Avant is set to go on sale in Europe sometime next year with a possible North American release at a later date.
