While there were rumors of a Black Friday release, Nike has since confirmed that the Air Jordan IV “Black/Cement Grey” will drop on the biggest shopping day of the year, Friday (November 23).
The sneaker returns, ironically, 23 years after Michael Jordan cut across the foul line for “The Shot” that helped the Chicago Bulls defeat the Cleveland Cavs in the closing seconds.
The 2012 release is set apart from past releases in ’89, ’99 and ’08 by utilizing a full-suede upper in black. But, aside from the Jumpman branding on the heel, everything else remains true to the original with cement grey and fire red accenting throughout.
The Air Jordan IV Black/Cement Grey-Fire Red will retail for $160, and drop Black Friday at Nike retailers.
