Nissan recently debuted the 2013 GT-R, via this new video clip, showing off all its improvements.

According to AutoBlog.com, the Japanese automaker has fine-tuned the 3.8-liter twin-turbo V6 engine with new injectors for quicker response, a baffle added in the oil pan to maintain constant oil pressure during enthusiastic driving, and an improved turbo bypass valve for better acceleration at higher speeds. They¬†also optimized the car’s handling potential by giving it a lower center of gravity, new shocks and stabilizers, and reinforcements in the dash giving the car a more rigid structure.

The Premium Edition model adds a new Semiarinin leather and will even offer custom colors for the interior.

The 2013 Nissan GT-R is set to drop in Japan later this month, followed by a release in other markets in January.
