Cashius Green is the “best money makin Muhammad Ali.” After first seeing him move the Philadelphia crowd, as he opened on the first stop of this year’s Smokers Club Tour, Bwe were out to catch up with the Carson, California native if ever back in town. New York City may be too fast for him and his UTB Life$tyle clique, but nothing can knock down the champ right?
“The Motto, no Drake,” is what he declared as he was about to perform his song for Smoke DZA’s “He Has Risen” Tour. He was back in Philadelphia, assisting fellow Cinematic Music group signee, but not for long, as more shows and the studio awaited for him in the Big Apple. Getting first noticed from his video for “The Motto” (watch it here), he has put out a slew of visuals for his Sunny Side Up project, which dropped this past summer. Having a slowed out, more Texas Pimp C flow makes him standout amongst the new “Function” music phase we are seeing out of Cali. Out to get a better chance to get to know Cashius Green, we were able to chill with him for the day.
Sit back as Ballerstatus.com spends time with him out shopping and navigating through Manhattan, and discusses Sunny Side Up, his name, as well as peep into his studio session.
