More info in the Cee Lo Green drama surfaced Friday (November 2).

According to TMZ.com, the woman who filed a police report accusing the singer of sexual battery is said to have secretly recorded a conversation with him in which he is heard admitting to slipping her a drug and then having sex with her.

Cee Lo, however, has denied all accusations.

The unidentified woman has told police that Cee Lo took her to a restaurant in Downtown Los Angeles in July. They had a drink and she says she remembers nothing after that. The next thing she knew, she was lying naked in a bed and Cee Lo was in the room.

Sources say the woman, who does not live in California, almost immediately went to her local law enforcement agency and reported the incident, which was eventually referred to the LAPD. From there, LAPD detectives had the woman make a "pretext call", in which they try to bait the other party into acknowledging a crime or other misdeed -- and it was recorded.

Sources tell TMZ that that Cee Lo is on tape, repeatedly apologizing and referencing MDMA (Ecstasy), though he does not specifically say he put it in her drink. He also says he thought the drug would help them have an exciting time together. MDMA it no generally known to render someone unconscious.

Sources close to the singer claims the accuser went to a civil lawyer BEFORE going to police and demanded money to make the whole thing go away. The other side, however, says her lawyer called Cee Lo's manager to find out if he had any communicable diseases and never made any money demands.
