50 Cent has expanded his business empire yet again, now hopping into the same arena as his good friend Floyd Mayweather: boxing.
According to Business Insider, the rapper (real name: Curtis Jackson) is officially licensed as a boxing promoter in the state of New York. And ddditionally, he’is applying for permission to promote fighters and matches in Nevada — Las Vegas is known as the prime destination for the sport’s biggest matches.
His promotion company is called TMT, short for “The Money Team.”
ThisIs50.com says 50 Cent has already signed gold medalist and former featherweight champion Yuriorkis Gamboa, and middleweight and former Olympic medalist Andre Dirrell.
