Adidas officially launched their new adiZero Feather 2 shoe earlier in the month, but a pair showed up at our officers recently, so we wanted to give you a closer look at the new, lightweight running shoe via an official unboxing post.

The second installment of the Feather 2 follows in the theme of the previously released adiZero Crazy Light 2, in that the shoe giant has focused on unleashing the lightest sneaker in each release’s respective industries — the Feather being in running, obviously.

The show weighs in at 6.7 ounces, and when you pick it up, you can feel it too. Additionally, the  Feather 2 includes Adidas’ patented SprintFrame technology, which significantly reduces shoe weight while maintaining comfort and returning energy to each stride; TORSION technology, allowing for freedom of motion in the front and back of each shoe; and the SprintWeb, a lightweight mesh construction, provides maximum support and breathability while adiPrene+ and an adiWear rubber outsole ensure long-lasting durability and traction.

These unboxing images show just one colorway available, but they also boast a black/white option as well, with at least, six more to hit soon.

The adiZero Feather 2 retailers for $115, and is available through and retailers nationwide including Finish Line and Champs.
