Wiz Khalifa is usually the one getting the shine out of his Taylor Gang crew, but his artists are starting to get their looks, from Lola Monroe to Juicy J … all the way to his longtime partner, Chevy Woods.
Woods sits with ThisIs50.com’s Jack Thriller to talk about his career, weed … and more weed.
The rapper first discusses his new solo mixtape, Gangland. He explains how the title coincides with its content and what it means to him; and reveals features — his Taylor Gang crew, Trae Tha Truth and Lil Scrappy.
As the interview continues, Woods explains Lola Monroe’s entry into the crew. He says Wiz brought her aboard, and put him up on her, because before she signed to Taylor, he was unaware of who she was.
Woods also explains why he and Wiz prefer rolling papers over blunts, and shows off his Zig-Zag man chains.
